I grew up with the Candy Candy manga and anime in the late 1970s-early 1980s. Love it to this day. I don't think I ever got over the trauma of Terry and Candy's break up.  I have watched movies and read literature of epic romances that are supposed to move earth and moutains- Wuthering Heights, Gone with the Wind, Titanic, even stories in non-English languages too -- but none moved me as much as Candy and Terry. 

When Kyoko Mizuki published the Candy Candy Final Story in 2010, my hopes are restored (sort of). But I want so much more. So I wrote this fanfic. It is my way of bringing these two incredible characters back together. I hope that it will bring a lot of magic, joy, and closure to a lot of other CC fans who love Candy and Terry as much as I do.
