For now I have headcanons for You :)
          
          - After Misako came back Lloyd couldn’t trust her for a while.
          
          - Misako is not his first choice when he has a problem. Lloyd doesn’t need his mother in a sense most people do. Ninja became his family and after the time she did too but he wasn’t a child anymore and time couldn’t go back, though he likes the thought that she’s safe and close. That makes him calm and gives him some kind of peace that his mom decided to come back and is now with them, that’s why he was so worried about her in the Island season. 
          
          - Misako respects that boundary, she doesn’t push Lloyd. She regrets leaving him because she now knows he will never see her as a regular mother she should have been.
          
          - I will never believe she is „evil”, I’m sure she had her reasons for leaving Lloyd. It’s not a justification ofc, that was a huge mistake I’m just trying to think of a way her mind was going when she decided to leave Lloyd.

MY HEADCANONS ABOUT AND OPINONS ON LLOYD'S AND MISAKO'S RELATIONSHIP
          
          I completely mistreated Misako in one of my fanfics and I really regret it. I was drawing her design when she was young and began to think about her.
          I came to mind that I have mixed feelings:
          
          Bad things Misako did:
          - she abandoned Lloyd
          - she flirted with Wu 
          
          Good things Misako did:
          - came back and apologized
          - sticked around and was there for lloyd for example in seasons 8 and 9
          
          So I guess I will not think of her as the best mother in the world (come on, choose one brother already) but I will always defend her from people who say that she’s the worst character or that Garmadon is a better parent than her. 
          
          We think he is because he got a lot of screentime and his issues with Lloyd were explored - that’s why we think he may pay more attention, though it’s Misako who is on Lloyd’s side and doesn’t want to kill him. Don’t get me wrong, I love Garmadon and Lloyd’s daddy issues but I just think it’s unfair to glaze him and put Misako down. 
          
          Garmadon, Morro and Harumi also gave Lloyd trauma, so in my opinion, if they are forgiven, Misako should be too.  
          
          As Ninjago writers didn’t explore Lloyd’s mommy issues, I will >:)
          I don’t know if I’m gonna write a whole separate book, I think so but I have a BIG project in progress (I don’t want to post anything about it before I’m done so that’s why my wattpad feels a little dead)
