Alexandre Spiess is a teenage writer, artist, actor and a professional five year old. He is also queer, and very passionate about the LGBT+ community. He began working on his first novel; Usually Okay, in the summer before 8th grade. The story began as a fan-fiction, that he, with a sudden epiphany on a double decker bus in London sitting next to his dad, realized it was too good for a fan-fiction. He started writing the novel when he got back to the US, and his life was ruined. Alex loves writing and drawing about his characters, and has fallen in love with them. He also loves acting, and his favorite musical at the moment is Falsettos.
