My name is Alexandru Manole and I am a 23 years old Communications graduate. Regarding writing experience, it all started when I was about 15. At that time I had written my first article in Level Games Magazine, reviewing video games. Afterwards, I started taking fiction writing more seriously and produced some short stories that eventually ended up online on dedicated websites or offline in some magazines. Most of them were written in my native language, Romanian, but some were written in English as well. Gradually though, I started slaking-off and my college choices took me on a different path: Political Science and Communications. It was not a complete misfortune, as I think the academic writing guidelines that I've learnt there can certainly give your thoughts more cohesion. The passion for writing never completely disappeared and I continued to write, mostly non-fiction and academic for Vice Magazine and some blogs.

I recently took up fiction writing again, mainly to produce the script for my short-movie for a course and also to help out a friend with her script. Since I now live in Amsterdam and everyone speaks either Dutch or English, I abandoned writing fiction in Romanian, as some of the short-stories that I had written ended up being scripts afterwards.
