Morphine Dreams is short trip into the world of Maurice Dean, a patient awaiting a stem cell transplant. This a somewhat fictional account of his experience where he is introduced to the pain killer Morphine and it's relaxing yet hallucinogenic properties.
          
          Written directed and choreographed by Maurice Dean based on true experiences of his fight with Aplastic Anemia, a blood disorder that nearly claimed his life in May of 2012. Morphine Dreams takes you through a journey of how Maurice battles his fears of lost love, death, failure with the help and faith given to him by his close family, friends and many people he has come in contact with over the years.
          
          Featuring Hip Hop Theory The Company.
          
          Hip Hop Theory is a Bronx based Dance Company, founded by Maurice Dean an Alumni of Lehman College. Hip Hop Theory started in May of 2005 at Lehman College and showcased young dancer/ choreographers of the college. Hip Hop Theory has now grown into a professional organization set out to educate and train dancers in various styles of Hip Hop Dance.

          My momma would always sing to me at night, when i would here things comming from the attic, she would always sing me Hush little baby. Now that im older and my curiousity grew i would find my self being drawn to the attic, my momma always said to never go up there, but we all break the rules sometimes in our life, now i wish i didnt.
