So... It's been well over a year since I've had anything to do with this site, despite continuing to get notifications in my email about my stories getting likes and comments. 
          
          Firstly, I want to say that despite it seeming to be popular, I hate my NCIS fanfiction, I hate it a lot and can't even bring myself to read half a chapter. The grammar is terrible, the story is awful, and my characters suck. Whatever sort of sequel I'd had planned to make a few years ago has been trashed, and I actually feel like scrapping the entire thing.
          
          Secondly, I'm making an executive decision to not continue writing Caged Like An Animal. It's been over five years since I last updated it, and even longer since I've even opened one of the files to attempt to edit it. I'm not binning the entire thing, I'll maybe repurpose some of my original ideas for a new story I'm a lot happier and more enthusiastic about.
          
          There we go, I finally got all that off my chest. It's been a long time coming and I put it off as long as I could. My approach to writing is different, my style is different, even all my ideas are different. I can't write how I used to write, and I wouldn't want to, I've improved since I was 17 and I refuse to go back to how I used to do things. Here's to a better writing future.

PSA: I'm so tempted just to make Kris gay and Carter female, just because there are so many stereotypical M/F werewolf stories out there. I also know, however, that the majority of my readers are straight, so it would turn a lot of people away.

To all my followers (and readers of my books), I want to apologise for the lack of updates, as well as the complete lack of progress. God, I hadn't realized it had been so long since I've written something or updated CLAA, or my NCIS book (which I hate by the way). My life has been pretty busy and I haven't been able to focus on writing for a while, so the teaser chapter of Caged like an Animal was actually the last time I've written something properly. Which is to change! Once my college course finished in May, all I'll be doing is working, so hopefully that is going to clear up a lot of free time for me to sit and start writing again! I'm not really a big fan of the Amino groups, but I found a Wattpad one that's actually not too bad. If anyone's interested, I'll be posting updates about chapters on there, so feel free to go and follow me, that's where I'll be answering all my questions and things.

I'm not going to make up any excuses, I'm terrible with deadlines and the last thing on my mind right now has been writing. I had to give up my job for college, and you'd think that would give me a lot more free time, but all it's done is stress me out with money problems and what I'm going to do with my life. A lot of deep thoughts come out of being unemployed, and I'm not enjoying them. 
          
          Anyway, back to the point. Over the summer, I hope to be focusing on editing and uploading again, because I haven't done that in a long time, and Caged like an Animal haunts me, because I used to be so passionate about it and now I can barely look at it. Silver Chip is doing well by itself right now, even though I can't stand to look at it either, but Caged like an Animal has been a big part of my writing life since I was in high school and I'd really like it polished and completed, so I'm going to be focusing on that.
          
          I read all the feedback I get, answer comments, and am always flattered to see someone take time out of their day to read the trash I've written, so thank you guys, you inspire me. I DO seriously hope to get chapters out and all, so stay tuned!

Silver Chip was an amazing read! Captured my attention all the way to the end!
