It’s been about a full 24-hours since I’ve sent Rhythmic Rebellion Records my CD, and it was finally here! I ran down to the basement with wobbly knees, and a still bleeding broken nose. I opened up the envelope with a blur vision, as my heart was racing, and shaking bloody fingers. The letter read as followed:
Dear Nyla Kianna Reese,
I hope this letter finds you well. Firstly, let me congratulate you on your latest CD release. I must say, it was a pleasure listening to it. As the CEO of Rhythmic Rebellion Records, I can confidently say that your music aligns perfectly with our company's values. Your talent needs a bigger platform and we want to be the ones to provide that for you.
After listening to your CD, we are excited to inform you that we would like to sign you on to our label. We believe that your music deserves national recognition and we are confident that we can provide you with the resources to make that happen.
Our team will be flying to California in 2 days to discuss the terms of our proposal with you. We are very excited to meet with you in person and discuss the details of what we have planned for you. We are committed to providing you with the support you need to reach your full potential as a musician.
