I am a civil engineer. I look at existing structures, identify their strengths and defects, calculate their existing carrying capacity and recommend remedial actions. I am often in disagreement with management as I put human safety above commercial concerns.

When I look at the World as a whole, I see much suffering and struggle. The massive human potential that now exists is locked in competition against itself. Individuals seek ways to advance their-selves at the expense of others, then inevitably come up against their nemesis: people just like them.

I hope the human family are ready to try a better way. To focus their collective awesome power into common purpose: doing what is best for all sentient beings, for all time to come.
