"I'm never too sure how to start these "About Me" things- oh look at that, I just did. Never mind then. I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Al, it's a pleasure to meet you my insightful little bird." 

"Al?" you ask.

"Quite," I confirm happily, "My pen-name, I merely took it from the first letter of both my first and middle name. Personally, I find it quite appealing to be referenced as a boy."

"What are you like?" you pester, finding yourself rather intrigued.

"Normally, I'd blush humbly and mutter quietly, but this is the internet!" I exclaim, "I can boast all I want! I don't have to worry over my image!" I tap my finger against my lips, pondering mildly, "I'm a teenager, like most are on this site, I've lived for a magnificent fifteen years as a 'small-town-farm-girl...' I'm generally quiet, preferring to observe rather than throw myself in the open. Unfortunately, I suffer from social anxiety- but thankfully I'm climbing past that! I'm extremely lazy- thankfully I have a high metabolism..."

"What are your likes and dislikes?" you inquire.

"Well," I brood for a second, "I like cats, caffeine, videogames, reading and writing!- I don't particularly care for people, insects, and hot weather- I'm more of a winter person you see."

You muse for a second, "And may I have one fact about you?"

Casually, I lean over from my perch on the sofa, and nudge a potted torch cactus. "I've had this little guy for about a year; I've named him Mr. Usui." Then I sigh, gazing down at my laptop, "I'm afraid that I have to go, I'm running out of characters. Goodbye, my little bird."   
I grin merrily as I shove you out the door, forcefully slamming it shut as you berate me with unasked questions. I call from the other side of the bared door, "If you have any more questions, just message me!"
I crawl back to my laptop, and hide away, occasionally resurfacing for food.
