Is it bad that the first thing I look at is the amount of votes vs the amount of views when I'm looking for a new book? Or that the second thing I look for is to make sure it's completed? Then I finally read the book description. Oh well, its not gonna change anytime soon

OK, RANT TIME. I hate it when authors only reveal information right before it's useful. Like an example would be two characters having a conversation, but one of the characters only tells us that his voice sounds hoarse when a third character enters and offers that character a glass of water. Is it really all that hard to make the character tell us that his voice is hoarse when the conversation starts? I guarantee it will improve your story so much.
