hey guys :')
          
          the last time i was actually active on here was back in november and OH MY GOD so much has happened since then.
          
          school has been absolutely kicking my ass. between homework, exams, assignments and just existing, i've been so mentally exhausted that i barely have the energy to think, let alone write.
          
          since november i've lost a friend, nearly lost another, got into (and out of) a relationship, fell down the stairs and ended up in the hospital (0/10 btw), got into way too many fights, had family issues that somehow ended with me getting kicked out of the house, and my best friend (not anymore??) started dating the only guy i'd ever genuinely liked before my ex.
          
          somewhere in the middle of all that, i kind of lost myself.
          
          i stopped writing. not because i stopped loving it, but because i just couldn't. every time i opened wattpad i wanted to write, but nothing came out.
          
          but recently i've started writing again, and it reminded me why i fell in love with it in the first place. writing feels like home.
          
          so... i'm retiring allestay.
          
          i'm not deleting this account because i could never do that. there are way too many memories here, and this account basically watched me grow up :'(
          
          but this isn't the end of me. i'll be back soon™ under a new name, and if you wanna keep in touch or read whatever i write next, lmk!! i'd be happy to share my new account once i figure out a username
