A black woman from England that loves writing but have no desire to pursue publishing. I oil paint, read any and everything, obsess over melancholy television, and cherish poetry.

Because I only aim to share my writing and not be identified, I have decided to go by the alias Seren Vale: 

'Seren' in Welsh means star, and a vale is indicative of nature, depth, secrecy, seclusion, and quiet, which in many ways represent who I am. Vale also translates to 'farewell' or 'be well' in Latin. This represents my love for depicting loss, goodbyes, and ethereal endings.

Most of my shorter books (minimum 50-60 chapters, aiming for minimum 1000 words per chapter) will be romance, however I aim to have books in mainly both the romantic and fantasy, however some books will have many sub-genres.

TBA: Once I've built a website and acquired a domain, I'll be uploading all my books that will be free to download as pdf or epub files. This may take some time.

I hope that you enjoy my stories, and please comment, argue, disagree, and challenge the themes and characters, including narrators if included. Many Wattpad authors see negative comments as a personal attack, understandably, but I believe books are an expression of an individual's thoughts, feelings and emotions and sharing literature would be pointless if I didn't encourage hearing how other individuals interpret my books.
