Your story “In the Middle Again” really pulled me in the scene where Lilly overhears the fight and realizes it might be her father hit especially hard I could almost feel her fear and confusion. The nightmare twist at the end tied it together so well it made me wonder if her dreams are connected to something deeper in reality. Do you think Lilly’s nightmares are foreshadowing what’s to come or just showing us her inner fears?
