Alley Windsor was born in a small village on the Atlantic Coast in the Caribbean. She spent most of her childhood reading, swinging on tire swings, climbing trees, and going for walks on the coastal wall. Her family later moved to New York City, where Alley first began to write, trying to preserve her never-ending thoughts, imaginings and vivid dreams on paper.

She currently resides in a small space in NYC with her husband and her two cats.
