I love AO3 to bits. But my God, if your story doesn't have a lesbian female protagonist, or at least a female protagonist with a sapphic relationship endgame, don't give the story a F/F tag. It makes it so much more difficult to find a sapphic focused story, which is what the tag is for. It's not meant to be used, just because there's some obscure F/F side character relationship.

Fucking hell Wattpad. Your recommendations feed is fucking awful. 'Readers who enjoy (Rumi x Fem reader) also enjoy these stories'

Then proceeds to give me a long list of 'straight to DVD' quality straight novels and fanfics. Like what? Out of all the results you could've recommend me as a result of me reading a decidedly lesbian story search result about love and friendship while slaying demons, not a single one of your recommendations was lesbian storytelling? I miss old school Wattpad. Back when it was still community driven, still had personal messages, and when we didn't constantly get paid books in categories we don't even read shoved down our throats.

It's actually impressive how fast they've screwed their own platform. I've been on the platform for a handful of years, give or take. For a long while I loved it, and then they disabled the private messages, then shortly after the personal feed just went belly up. Nowadays I dread trying to find new stories to read, like it's honestly a pain. When I hyper fixate on a fandom, I ALWAYS read as many of the stories on AO3 as possible, and only turn to Wattpad when the other well has dried out. It's fucking sad, because in the past I barely ever touched AO3 (which was a mistake) but now I'm borderline compelled to do so in order to avoid Wattpad.

Man. I really wish there was a ACOTAR fanfic with a trans female protagonist who's absolutely smitten with Feyre, and who ends up doing the trials with her. Dying and immediately being reborn into the body you've always wished you had would be real damn good, not gonna lie.

QueenOkorejior

Hi please can you update your ancient flames story? I love it. And please continue writing GP stories. I love them. Also can you recommend someone else who writes gp fics or recommend a few GP fics?

Alliebutt

@QueenOkorejior I do indeed plan to continue it. This year has been an up and down roller-coaster, so I just haven't had the time or the energy to write.

As for writing G!P stories, that's very much my plan. I might eventually write a cis story, but I'll be honest. I can't entirely relate to cis women most of the time, but I do have some plans for that in the future.

@_targaryen83_ Shit, yeah. I saw Stark instead of Snow, lmao. Fair accident I'd imagine.

But then I can't guarantee anything. I only watched the first what? 2 or 3 seasons of The Flash? And that was years ago when the show originally began. I don't know if I have the time to have to re-watch everything from scratch in order to write a fic for her. But hey, when I eventually finish some of my other stories, I might give it a go. No promises though.

@Alliebutt I think you’ve got the wrong character. I am talking about Caitlin from the flash tv series

@JaKighCooperMoore They will be updated, that much I can promise you. I still have the stories backed up on Google Drive as well, but out of principle I prefer not giving a specific date or time frame.

This year has been incredibly rough for me both in terms of my physical health, as well as my mental health. On top of those issues, I also ran into personal issues that just added extra pressure on my mental health in particular.

So the TLDR: I don't want to give a specific time frame, because life's rough and I don't want to promise y'all something and then not being able to deliver on those promises.
