Hello everyone!
It has been a long, long time since I’ve been on Wattpad (let alone posted on it). I don’t really have a reason other than as I’ve grown my use of Wattpad has decreased and my interest in my stories (at least the ones posted here) has diminished. Although, my love for writing has only increased in all these years (and I hope my skill in it has too). Honestly, reading my old stories makes me cringe and regret ever writing them, but I’m not going to take them down for nostalgia’s sake and for showing myself that I have improved through the many, many years of hard work. Unfortunately, I am never going to finish the ongoing stories that I have, I’m very sorry to those of you that we’re hoping for closure on them. I would be interested in one day rewriting some of my stories, although the plot and characters would likely be very different (i.e more developed and all-around better). I have made my (not-so-grand) return to Wattpad in the hopes of sharing my current obsession, the thing that consumes most of my time and thoughts: my novel Within the Waters. It’s a supernatural story centering around a group of high school students who find themselves caught up in the dangerous supernatural world of werewolves, witches, and other nightmarish creatures that lurk within the town that they call home. I have spent years planning this story and painstakingly creating these characters who I hope are far more dynamic and developed than characters I wrote all those years ago (cringe).
If any of you who are following me or stuck around all these years would like to check out my newest novel I would be so appreciative! Updates will be very frequent as I have quite a bit of it written, it just needs to be edited before posting. I hope you’ll enjoy! The prologue and first six chapters are already published!
