It's not positive, especially with the various phases Naomi goes through, it's more of insincere. I never cared to read more either; it left a horrible taste in my mouth.

This is all just my opinion, of course. It's perfectly fine to enjoy the book, and I'm in no way trying to disrespect your or the author. This is just my perspective, interpretation, and how the book made me feel. Id rather the author not try to present themes they know nothing about and are uninformed and ignorant, and just not even put elements unfamiliar with them at all. Or properly delve into the pressing concerns of such topics, instead of getting pity from the viewers, but an empty nothingness afterwards.

Again, this is just how offended I felt reading the book. It doesn't mean it's as bad as I say it is; maybe I'm biased because the author makes such lightheartedness of all the suffering I went through. But regardless, I'll stick to my opinion.

However, I'm glad you enjoyed it! It seems rare for me to find something I thoroughly like, so I know the satisfaction of having completed a great book series, and the possible curiosity I get as to why someone would rate it badly. But hey, what do I know? Just continue enjoying the book.

Well, since you're being kind and not raging at me (Like many people), I'll try to return the favor as best I can.

For one thing, I'm all fine that TGGBB is trying to stop bullying. My issue is that the story's presentation is shallow and not researched. If you're going to write about such a sensitive and provocative topic, then it's imperative to be accurate and show you're trying to actually spread awareness. Inaccuracy and falseness, even with good intentions, is only going to spread false information and do much more harm than good. It also shows a lack of motivation for the subject of bullying, and just generally felt like pandering to me, for such ridiculous stunts that even I was scoffing; and I was bullied all throughout elementary and middle school.

For a next thing; I'm not into cliche books. It's just my personal preference, and a not popular one at that, but the book is cliche, poorly written, flat, one-dimensional, ridiculous, and constantly made me out it down and get annoyed. The characters have zero flaws, the writing is inconsistent, and the boys act so annoying for the sake of being "cute" it's unbearable; and they're too strong with zero character to actually work with. Naomi is not a realistic bullied individual, and even if the author is trying to motivate readers, it felt very weak and presents a lack of genuine concern for bullied individuals, that go through hard times. Things don't magically get better, and a protagonist such as Naomi only made me feel worse. The author is giving false promises, and making every scenario seem so unrelatable it's mediocre.
