Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven’t been posting these last two weeks but there is something bugging me about ‘Distant melody’ and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe it’s how I wrote the characters or how Luna expresses herself generally but I’ve not been satisfied with how it’s turned out. The main thing that’s on my mind is a specific scene from chapter two and I’ve reread it so many times but it still doesn’t sit right with me. For the time being I will be taking the book down sometime next week so that I can make some changes and republish it when I’m comfortable enough to put it out there.

I’m so sorry for the late update but Chapter 4 is up now.
I was flying back home and quarantining, then the whole stress of waiting to hear your exam results. Anyways alhamdulillah I passed all of them and I don’t have to retake anything. I’m just so happy to say that I finished 1st yr, it was so stressful and I’m glad it’s over. Now 5 more yrs and I can say uni is behind me.

EXAMS!!!! Why do they exist? Can’t my professors just trust me when I say I remember everything they taught me this past year. Anyways I won’t be updating ‘distant melody’ in the upcoming month or so. My first exam is next week and my last one is on the 8th of July. I’ll post after that I promise, sorry for the lack of updates.

I agree. Why would we do all of those tests just for us to have an exam at the end of the year? Smh. Anyways, I really like your book so far, I love the writing style and the characters.
