Without you, look what I’ve become…
          Without you, see how much I’ve changed.
          When I lost you, I ended up losing myself too.
          If you search for me, I’ll find myself again.
          In exchange for you, I wouldn’t even accept heaven.

It took me time to understand. I didn't do it out of habit or duty. 
          I did it out of love.

There's so much of me, that doesn't exist anymore.

There are poets dying to write about a love like ours; let’s make their wishes come true?

It’s like you’ve swallowed oceans of pain and they’re now a part of you. Why do your eyes always have so much pain in them? Tell me, what do I do to take it all away?

So many flowers are accidently stepped on,
          So many hearts are accidently broken. 

There are flowers
          in our irises
          that bloom
          every time
          we meet.

I told my heart every single time that I shouldn't trust this person. But my hearrt always made me believe that maybe this time I am wrong and it is right. How do I tell my heart that I want to be wrong again and again but you see....
          
          My heart is always WRONG and I am always RIGHT.

My head rests in their arms as
          if it’s the only place it was meant to be. I realise I’ve not felt this safe since
          I was little. I realise this is all I've ever wanted—the comfort of being
          held by someone who I know won’t hurt me.

Someone who has been loved by grief all his life will of course fall in love with the person who makes him smile.
