And also, I don't really plan to update any of my works here. A lot of them were written when I was a young and inexperienced writer, so I cringe whenever I look at them and have no idea how to even continue the story line. So I'm sorry for everyone who was waiting for updates on my works, but it'll probably never happen

I like how people are just now finding my Devil x Reader books and experiencing my cringy ass writing from my younger years. I'm almost tempted to rewrite the whole thing and delete the original because younger me was a terrible writer
@Alpha-Maia we ain't stoppin' you from rewriting it, but it'd be really nice to keep the older one so you can see how much you've improved. idk man, just a suggestion ♂️
@Alpha-Maia golly, when I was first in my Cuphead phase (3 years ago) I wrote some stuff on a deleted account. I don't quite remember some of it but boy was it cringe. one was a sequel to a story imma rewrite in a bit, and the other was a self insert. *cringes*
So here I am in the comfort of my bed want to read something cause I was upset for reasons and waiting almost a whole year for another chapter of “the winning hand” and turns out it’s discontinued I don’t know how to feel but I support you all the way don’t worry if this sounds like hate or you don’t like it I’ll delete it I feel like a sequence would be amazing but it's like when a movie is really good and they make a sequel and it turns out bad but I love imagining the rest which makes it fun but I want to say that these books made my days better thank you again.

Guys, I literally have no motivation to continue The Winning Hand
Every time I try to get myself to work on it, I blank out for like an hour just staring at the draft.
So, I don't think I'll update it anymore. Sorry for this, but I just can't force myself to work on it
@Alpha-Maia No pressure at all. It would be nice to see a new chapter because it is a FANTASTIC story. However when it suits you best, that's when you work on it more.

We are all going through a hard time and your not even into the fandom
Here is an idea just forget about the winning hand then if you think about something randomly that would be good you can write about that your stories are good but you have multiple good stories focusing on those when you like them more would be a better idea then stressing over the winning hand
@Alpha-Maia that's okay! Don't worry about it. You shouldn't try to force yourself to write something if you're not even in the fandom anymore. And I get, motivation Is becoming harder and harder to keep a hold on lately. So don't stress yourself over it. And maybe keep out my version? I just wanna know that the person who inspired me so much read what little bit of my book I've published. You don't have to like it, just maybe leave a comment so I know you've been there? Obviously if you have time and want to of course. But I've enjoyed the book while you worked on it and so I thank you. Stay safe!

I'm so sorry for taking so long to update The Winning Hand. It's been really difficult to find motivation to work on it, since I'm not in the Cuphead fandom anymore. I'll do my best to get to work on it, but since it's old, and I hate how my old writing looks, don't expect an update soon
