This one is particularly tricky, as it is serving as a bridge between the previous Mojave-Othrys-Valley offense-defense arc and the upcoming arc of Percy going back to being a DEVGRU troop commander, punching that time card, and getting after it.

          KIA update just dropped. Not as much action, but it's a nice little slice of life with a bit of comedy... hope you enjoy it! 
          
          WSM update is still in progress (because warfare is hard to write). And while I'm not using any classified information, I'm surprised the NSA hasn't sicced the FBI on me yet... though I might've jinxed myself.
          
          Side note: the FBI agent memes are technically wrong. It would be an NSA intel officer surveilling you via electronics... they just share the info with the FBI. So imagine how sad the poor NSA guy feels, watching the FBI get all the credit for spying on you.
          
          Okay, that was all a fun joke. NSA and FBI, please don't tell Boeing I'm a whistleblower.

          Happy belated Independence Day! I hope your celebrations were filled with family, good food, and epic fireworks!
          
          Just dropped a decently sized WSM update, and the KIA update is still in progress. Wanted to drop both on the 4th, but... things happened, unfortunately. I hope you'll enjoy the latest entry into Joint Task Force 12's mission in the Mojave Desert.
          
          Crazy stuff's happening in the world. And as crazy as I go for realism, I hope reading my work is as much of a fun-filled escape for you as writing it is for me... especially considering how many "historical events" we seem to be seeing, like the attempted assassination that killed a spectator and wounded former President Trump and two bystanders.
          
          I will say, though: I think that things can get better. Call me a hopeless optimist that jams to "God Bless the U.S.A." way too much... but hey, this is America, right? We've risen from tragedy before and we can do it again. Our flag's been shot, scalded, burned, downtrodden, abused, dishonored, drenched, run low and through the worst wringers... but it'll fly high and proud again. And our spirits will be right there with it.

          Just finished a WSM chapter, and it's cleared hot, loaded for bear with action!
          
          Today is the 80th anniversary of the start of Operation Overlord, with this specific day often known as "D-Day," when the Allied Powers established a foothold into Nazi-controlled Europe and initiated the downfall of the greatest evil ever known.
          
          4,414 men died to keep freedom alive on this day 80 years ago.
          
          This isn't a holiday that we celebrate, but an event that we remember, with the hopes that we learned from the war and its context to prevent such a cataclysm from occurring again. We honor not only the fallen, but the men who survived it, and the men who continued on to topple the Third Reich.

          A decent-sized WSM update has just been dropped. If you like action, this is the chapter for you.
          
          Today is Memorial Day, a day often associated with mattress sales for some reason I cannot figure out for the life of me. But in truth, this is the day in which we remember the warriors who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we hold dear. It is not a day of celebration, but somber remembrance. Let the warfighters' stories be remembered for centuries to come, so that we shall never let their sacrifice be in vain.

Honestly, one thing I've never understood myself is why you would need months and holidays for something that's supposed to be part of you (who you love, what's between your legs, the color of your skin, etc... I'm not counting faith under this, as that's something you actually practice/do). I guess it's because I'm a firm believer in meritocracy and equality.
            
            A lot of people in these "protected classes," including some I've interacted with and some I've heard of, don't really care for these things (this includes people who would be considered part of the Pride Month celebrations, particularly those who feel that the community has been hijacked by narcissists and perverts). They'd rather be recognized for something they did, not something they are. And hell, I agree with them. Apparently, there is a lesser known "history month" that includes me... and personally, I don't care about it. I'd rather be recognized for some great achievement like rendering medical aid to wounded persons (which I've actually done), rather than my skin color or anything else that I am.
            
            I'm just speaking for myself though. Standing by for cancellation in 3, 2, 1...

@AlphaDeltaFoxtrot2 Something i don't understand is Pride gets a whole month while our fallen veterans that died for our country get one day and its also sad that of a lot of people forget about memorial day yet no one forgets about literally any other "Holiday"
            (Also I have nothing against Pride but come on One whole MONTH.)
