Ok I’ve been noticing some stuff when it comes to fanfics and the sort. Why is a constant theme I see is abuse, look I can see why people have those type of elements in the book but it’s over used and as a victim of similar circumstances.
I don’t want to have to read a book with those elements some books with those elements are good and the plots are awesome but seriously can we please stop having that as a theme.
My books that are currently in the works don’t have that theme in them and I don’t plan on adding them but seriously why do books with those themes get so many reads.
I’ve read book that don’t have that theme in them and the characters do come from stable backgrounds and they get so unappreciated.
I know that not everyone comes from a stable background like myself, but why can’t we just stop with that theme.
No hate towards those who choose to have that in their books. But please writers who love writing fanfics stop using that theme and focus on other things like A happy family.
