Only problem: the director would have to do A LOT of perspective shots (ala Lord of the Rings) because Lola's only 5'1" and Kristen is 5'10".  The look is SPOT ON otherwise.  I think the girl I cast as Madison is taller than her!  xD

@ AlteredPsyche  yeah that would be awesome getting the story as movie. Especially seeing Lola Flanery again would be awesome. I liked her play in the 100.

The final chapter of Beacon of Hope drops today at 4pm PST.  There will be something that posts on Thursday, but it's not relevant to the tale all of you have been following for the last couple of months.

          Webs We Weave has been slow going.  Good thing there's still another month until the conclusion of Beacon of Hope, eh?  How are you guys liking the book thus far?  I'm getting zero feedback on things.  Votes and comments would really help boost me in the algorithm, I think, and open up the book to new viewers.
          
          Of course, I have no idea how the algorithm works.  Maybe I should just STFU.

          That said, the main character of the upcoming "Chasing Horizons" is Capt. Samuel Danvers, USMC, with 23 years of loyal service to the Corps.  You'll have to wait a bit to see how his story plays out.  Coming Soon!!

OMG, the canned comments about "your work is so imaginative and groundbreaking" are getting old.  They're usually coming from week-old bots that only comment on the first chapter, which tells me that they've never even bothered reading through "Beacon of Hope".  Worse, I'm posting previews of the follow-up stories in the series and they're talking about having read many chapters already.  Honey, that's three pages of a 12-page chapter.  You've seen NOTHING of that story!
          
          In short: I do not want my novel to be turned into a comic book!  I do not want some AI-generated 30-60 second "trailer" for the book!  I don't want any of that slop!  It's in novel form for a reason!!

Finally got to click the little button that says "Complete".  Beacon of Hope is officially complete, though readers won't see the whole book until December.  I really hope everyone enjoys the tale.  It was a real labor of love.
