Hi everyone! I entered a writing contest back in September. The first round was writers from my country (U.S.), and now I'm moving on to the second: worldwide!! This one is judged by 50% jury votes and 50% audience votes.
I have 8 poems and 1 short story that are moving on to this round. It would mean a lot if you could send in some votes and comments <3 I'll post a link to my Tumblr post with poems and instructions in my "About" section!

Sorry in advance for the onslaught of update notifications for anyone following Poems of an Ocean of Fish! I'm editing the format of like every single poem in there, and I don't have the option to publish all the changes at once :((
Please let me know if the formatting is weird on any chapters! I update all of my books from a laptop and apparently the format gets kinda glitchy on mobile. I'm trying to make it more mobile-friendly (some poems appeared in big blocks of text, some had really wide line spacing, just all over the place), but it's hard to tell. So please let me know if it's being weird :)
I decided to remove some poems from Words of an Ocean of Fish :( I wrote a lot of those when I was a lot younger, and honestly I just think I've improved a lot since then. I want the work I like to be published online, so those are the only ones in there now. Just wanted to mention that!
First Wattpad announcement since December 2020... wow. Just sending one out to say that I'm putting out a new book! It's called Hot Glue Heart, and it's another collection, but this time it's a collection of small writings I made. I literally cannot describe them as they don't fit into like ANY genre that I know of, but it's here lol. They were originally lumped in with my poetry book (over on Quotev and in a published physical copy), but the layout gets pretty weird on digital so I'm splitting it up. Enjoy :3
Oh, I forgot some info!! The chapters will come out every Friday until the queue is empty (there's currently 9 chapters in the queue, but more may be added). After that, the update schedule will be the same as Poems of an Ocean of Fish - just whenever I finally get around to writing something new lmao.
There's also a short story called The Thing that'll be published today. It was also in my poetry book, but I'm keeping it separate from Hot Glue Heart due to its length :D
