I need your help.
A wonderful reader just recently told me that someone had stolen my work. I didn’t want to believe it at first but once the reader sent me the link...yeah, it’s true.
I couldn’t even check out the whole story because the owner blocked me even before I even knew her page existed. However, I was able to read the summary and saw all the chapters listed and knew they were mine.
I used a different account to check her out and found out she didn’t just steal one but both of my books: The Bodyguard and The Arrangement. And what’s even more insulting and shocking is she posted them on here—the same platform.
The moment I left a comment saying how her books were stolen from me, my second account was immediately blocked as well. And then she has the nerve to reach out to my second account and said she did give credit to the original author (which I couldn’t/didn’t see since I was blocked). Anyway, that doesn’t matter. The fact is I have my books on here. Why would you repost them on here—the same platform no less—and especially without my permission? And I’m sorry but her “I’m sorry I didn’t mean any harm by it” doesn’t cut it since I’m sure she knew what she was doing with all of her author’s notes at the end of the chapters thanking her readers ...
As of now, her 9 published stories are down to 4 so I can only assume that the other 5 were all stolen works.
Please report this person (ShamelessRoses) and please don’t waste your time reading her stolen books.
