My mother gave me the name Alyx. My father gave me his left hand and piercing blue eyes. All my life I have felt misplaced, yet throughout all the many places I have moved to. I have never felt more comfort in the uncertainty in an new beginning. I wish to capture belonging in my stories and portray the strength I have gained in my struggles.
