Hi. I created some headcanons about Francis with other characters. What do you think??
CHARLIE
• An age-related headcanon that I already sent in a reply to one of your comments.
• Francis would have worked (much) harder developing his powers compared to his sister, and this at some point became or will become a point of contention between the two, with Charlie saying that Francis is irresponsible with his powers and the younger one responding that at least he's not an incompetent who barely knows how to do basic magic.
• When they were younger, the two experienced some situations similar to episodes of Gumball, specifically the episodes The Laziest, The Remote, and The Password. In short, Francis was always the one who came out on top in the end.
• The general opinion of their mutual acquaintances (and readers) is that Francis is more sensible and pragmatic than his sister, since he actually plans things. However, everyone also admits that Charlie, as an adult, has a better understanding of the world than he does.
VAGGIE
• Off-screen, Francis makes many "subtle hints" to Vaggie to try and convince her to marry Charlie soon.
• Once, Francis got into trouble and, to get away with it, offered to tell Vaggie stories, including embarrassing ones, from Charlie's childhood in exchange for her silence.
ANGEL, NIFFTY, HUSK
• They see Francis as, respectively, a little brother and nephew.
• Angel would be more than willing to confront Valentino if he tried anything against Francis.
• Francis became very good at card games thanks to Husk, even beating him 50% of the time. On the other hand, the hotel bartender learned to play video games to get revenge.
• Nifty once saw a boy trying to intimidate Francis and had to be restrained to prevent her from stabbing him.
• Francis made a video shipping Angel and Husk (those AMVs with romantic music and photos and videos of the "couple") and posted it on his social media.
@SerenoWorldSky FIZZAROLLI AND VORTEX Oh poor Vortex, I can definitely see him being worried he made his girlfriend (and Francis mad). Francis definitely understands since Vortex was being a good person and that he's underage tho XD Aw heck yeah! Gotta make up for barring him from the party somehow XD (Francis would definitely like the gift and think Vortex is cool for it) Francis loves weddings so I can definitely see him doing this XD He doesn't exactly understand that people don't NEED to be married. He has a whole binder and everything XD (Bonus points if Ozzie and Bee overheard him in the background and are now dying) (You're good, I understand)
@SerenoWorldSky LUCIFER Ooh yup, you got that right. Lucifer would get Francis anything he wanted when he was younger to overcompensate for Lilith not being there. Which is understandable and he was there at points, the more Francs grew, the more distant the two became. It got worse when Charlie left for the hotel. It's true that Francis wouldn't know how to tell his dad any of this. CRICKET Hehe awww, that sounds adorable. Cricket may be grumpy and mad about the fact that his soul belongs to the Prince of Hell, but he does see that Francis doesn't TRY to make it bad for him. And in fact, tries to have fun with him SINS PFFFFFT he definitely did, you know a few of them were facepalming while he was throwing the tantrum XD Charlie tries to gently deflect him while he insists the kid should be punished. She definitely found it adorable in a way though XD Oh yes he did. Ozzie may be the king of Lust but I feel like he was the only one who actually knew how to take care of a baby/a kid. And yeah, knowing baby Francis, he wouldn't want things to be so intense. Awww, that's cute. Sorry, Bee, looks like there is no beating Ozzie. Francis is learning from all his Uncles and Aunts I see. Tricking Mammon like that XD Ooooh yes I can see that. We'll be exploring this more later (not spoiling) but Francis CAN and WILL lose patience with someone when his buttons get pushed. A verbal smackdown does sounds like him XD And I love Uncle Satan being proud of him XD (I feel like everyone else would be to scared to speak after Francis gets mad at the court member)
@SerenoWorldSky CHARLIE I'm going to run your age headcanon by my brother but I definitely like your age headcanon for Charlie and Francis. That one about him and Charlie about their magic definitely sounds like it could be an argument when it gets to Francis' emo phase (he's rather argumentative with everyone during that stage. Him using his magic a lot to show off, which would probably start the argument, fits in that stage too) I am one of those people who wants to know about the Morningstar family so bad. And imagining Francis and Charlie reenacting Gumball episodes kinda suits them well. Charlie tries her best against her brother XD I feel like their childhood could make a good side story. Oh yeah definitely. Even if Charlie isn't FULLY aware of how the world works beyond their royal lives, Francis was rather sheltered until recently. While he can plan, Charlie has him beat when it comes to how to address people and such. I feel like most people would find her friendlier too due to her much more bubbly personality. VAGGIE The "subtle hints" one is so canon XD Francis is the #1 Chaggie shipper and wants them married already. PFFFT not him paying off Vaggie with embarrassing younger Charlie stories. I imagine to tease Charlie, she' bring an embarrassing story up and Charlie wonders how she knew that. (Thinking Vaggie was an angel who watched over her at first until eventually finding out it was Francis who told her) ANGEL, NIFFTY, HUSK Angel WOULD. If Val tries to influence him, yeesh. Husk WOULD and I am here for it . Got Francis shocked but he respects that. Francis and Niffty have lowkey one of my favorite friendships. (In fact, in the beta version of the Season 1 finale, Francis was meant to sprout his wings while preventing Niffty from getting stabbed) She DEFINITELY would stab for him and would have to be restrained. That boy would be dead if she wasn't. I can see that. People love the ship AMVs since they get to see never-before-seen footage too.
Hi @Amano404!! I'm a big fan of your stories!! My favorite is Francis's. Anyway, I saw your art of Francis's look during his "phase" in the third season. I saw your reply to a comment where you said that look was temporary, which is a shame because it suited Francis very well. Anyway, I wanted to ask: Do you already have a "post-phase" look for Francis?? P.S.: Speaking of looks, do you plan to do art of all of Francis's friends?? Because so far you've only done art of Elissa and Nyx.
@SerenoWorldSky Oh thank you! I know, I liked the emo look too. I have yet to fully design the post emo look but I'll get there. I was drawing all his friends a year ago but got stuck on CJ since I didn't know how to draw Hellhounds at the time. I'll get there eventually.
