I'm back. I think. Wattpad had locked me out of my account for years and I finally got it back.

Well, it's been a long time since I posted here. My motivation to write is almost gone. I'm trying to work on a short story to help me get back on track but it's harder than should be.

@grungecup hi, sorry for the late reply. I have the story saved on here, but I hadn't finished editing it yet. My laptop died forever last summer and I haven't been motivated in months to write anything. I'm glad you liked the original story, but unfortunately it'll be a long time before I publish it here

Well my laptop finally kicked the bucket. I lost the latest chapters to some of my books. It's frustrating but not much i can do. Thanks Microsoft, your latest update cost me hours of work.
So I didn't deactivate my Instagram because I need the PC to do it. I guess I'll stick around for a bit

@addledwalrus OIC well, Hallmark channel usually has cheesy romance movies that aren't very good but at the same time they can be comforting.

I've recovered from COVID... again, but the stupid cough still lingers. Gets worse at night and I haven't slept properly in weeks because of it. Now hearing about all the long term affects COVID has on the body has me nervous for the future.
I'm vaccinated, I wear a mask, and stay home as much as possible but I've still caught it three times. I hate this government. We should've stayed on lockdown and this all would have gone away 2 years ago. Fuckin disease spreading caucroaches threw a fit and now here we are.
Some of the pay to read stories on this site feel like they're written by baby boomers pretending to be Millennials/Gen Z
@addledwalrus it's the best way I can explain it. A lot of these characters feel fake. Either they're written by boomers or they're written by a young person who never had a real social life.
@AmateurSketch Many of them do seem to follow the same formula, so I might check out the free preview chapters to see if that's an apt description.
