@AmazingKate2416 Ok, but mice are the most adorable things, we had one in our barn at one point and I was keeping track of it… then it disappeared… and a girl found a snake in the tack room… sad days for that mouse XD
@flamesword01 No problem! Good luck on the job! WC is somewhat better now XD
I saw Nic (@CanteringFlame202) ask something about this and that sparked a question XD IF you don't support the LGBTQ+ Community, do you respect pronouns? I will not send any hate or look at you differently based on your response, Im just curious <3 Have an amazing day :)
@AmazingKate2416 That's a tough question, and one I'm frankly still figuring out. So this answer will be pretty long so I can work carefully through my thought process. Because words mean things, and by using pronouns in ways at odds with the way our language has functioned for centuries, I'm acknowledging values that I don't agree with. I don't believe in forcing people to use language they don't agree with. I believe in the scientific reality that gender *is* an intrinsic quality we're imbued with long before birth. (xx and xy chromosones, anyone? This is simple science.) Though I understand the perspectives of the transgender community and respect their right to believe whatever they wish, I still disagree gender is fluid or alterable. So while yes, I believe in respect toward everyone, regardless of their beliefs, I also demand that same respect toward myself. Expecting me to call biological males "she", for instance, violates my deeply held beliefs, and I consider it utterly disrespectful to *my* worldview to force that upon me. For that reason, I have to come to an unfortunate middle ground and call people with divergent pronouns by their name exclusively. It's not pretty, but to maintain my own ideological integrity and not disrespect the other person, that's what I have to do.
