@AmbassadorsIN Namaste ☀️ Early Summers ✨ The sun rises early, it’s not hot just inquisitive sneaks in from neem leaves to warm up the dust. Mornings can be still cool but by noon it has forgotten to breathe spreads out thin across the fields as they wait for rain Little mango buds promise And somewhere a fan starts dreaming Slowly, steadily, inevitably Like Summer is here at last.
@AmbassadorsIN *Early Summers* We were wild things once, running barefoot through those early summer days when school bells stopped ringing and time stretched endless like the afternoons, sleepovers turning into swimming pools and vacation plans scribbled in notebooks, sitting under that mango tree like it was our kingdom, our voices loud enough to compete with the cicadas, our laughter sticky-sweet like the fruit staining our hands. But somewhere between then and now, the noise settled into something quieter, those screaming afternoons traded for shared headphones and playlists that say what we can't, the mango tree still there but we sit differently now, side by side instead of climbing, listening instead of shouting, growing up turning our summers from explosions into whispers, from running to sitting still. I miss the version of us that didn't need music to fill the silence, when summer meant chaos and scraped knees, when we didn't know yet that growing older means the loudest parts of us learn how to quiet down, that early summers fade into late ones, that childhood slips away one playlist at a time, until all we have left are headphones and memories of when the world was louder, brighter, ours.
