          To older readers who aren't all up-to-date, this is a massive overhaul of the previous version addressing many of the issues you had with the story. The story is great. How did you create your book cover?

Four weeks left to go on my contract! I have a little bit of time freed up before work thanks to my neighbour who got herself a short contract where I work. I'm hoping I can get a ride for the full 4 weeks, but I know to be grateful for what I have.
          
          That said - this car pool has freed up something like 4 hours before work for me. So I'm going to work on rebuilding my writing muscles so that when i get back to writing the Awakening it's less daughting. 
          
          For the next four weeks I'll be writing a little side project. If you want to have your say as to what I'm writing next - these are the options:
          
          - Story about Astral's Core
          - a new Fractured Memory from my dream journal
          - a side story from one of the existing fractured memories
          - The alternate reality that Seth experiences in Awakening - where he's hunting Astral in desperate attempt to stop her from summoning the demon at the Academy.

I've been at this new work contract for about a month now, and have switched to evening shift. I hope this means that I'll not be too creatively wrecked to do my writing. I'm allowing myself an adjustment period of one week - and then hopefully I can get back to posting regularly again. 
          
          Thank you so much for your support with Awakening: Prodigy - without wonderful readers such as you, I don't know where i'd be with this project.

The forth draft of Awakening:Prodigy is in progress. 
          
          I know that the third draft isn't done yet, but chapter 21 is/has kicked my @$$ so I'm going to give it some breathing room. As things stand, I'm working on the overall revision edits for chapters 1-9, then i'm going to go back to chapter 21 and hopefully finish it. At that point I'm not to sure if I'll be flipping back and forth - ex: doing chapter 1 draft 4(5), then doing chapter 22. 
          
          If I do that - then there will be a slight delay with new content as I'm cleaning up old content. 
          
          I'd like to try to push my third draft for as far as I can take it before the content starts resisting. But I totally see the value in pushing through the revisions of the 4th draft while it's fresh...
          
          Oh god did I make a mistake by starting the revisions...

Greetings Awakening fans! I'm in the middle of some pretty extensive re-writes for chapter 21 - i kind of hate all of it. No, not really... I just feel like I do. I'm at the part where the party needs to push forward, but they just don't. Typically this means that subconsciously, something earlier in the chapter is not flowing right. I have my suspicions about the two things that are tripping me up - so I'm working on it and hopefully I'll have a segment for you next week. 
          
          In the meanwhile, I have a group that could use more active members (if I'm being honest), where I post chapter specific questions where you can share your insights and personal experiences.
