@Amazanian hey back. I completely forgot about this conversation but I actually found out more about Catholicism through this. To summarise, I found out that different denominations don't have to mean different God. We are united in the sense that we all rely in one man alone for our salvation: Jesus Christ. I read a little through our conversation and I'm so sorry; I'd like to say I was younger in the faith and still had more to learn (still do - it's life-long learning with God as you probably know) but really I can't excuse myself from being a plain jerk. I'm sorry.
            
            I (and many other people, including my pastor at church - who was previously Catholic and is well-versed in pretty much everything I've asked him about which is just by the way A LOT) both agree that there are elements about Catholicism that just aren't Biblical.
            
            Go ahead and tag me. Just before you do though, are you gonna tell me that praying to the saints is okay because they technically aren't dead (they're eternally alive in Jesus's name) ?

@cafune01 I'm not protestant and I'm not protesting. I'm nondenominational. Picking and choosing denominations often leads to following practices which either add to or subtract from Christianity, which turns that belief into something similar to Christianity but is not exactly Biblical Christianity.
            
            With all due respect, I'd like to discontinue this conversation. It was very interesting, but I think it's time for me to go now. God bless you though, and may He reveal the truth to you.

@cafune01 also, prayers by saints is not the same thing as prayers to saints.
