"Stay close," he murmured, his voice barely a whisper as he crouched, blending with the darkness. Felix’s heart pounded, though he wouldn’t let it show. The elders had warned him, and yet here he was, drawn by a pull stronger than fear, by the whisper of a destiny he couldn’t escape.
From somewhere deep within the maze of tents, a haunting melody began to play—a strange, hypnotic tune that made his skin crawl and his instincts scream to flee. But Felix stood firm, claws at the ready, knowing that whatever secrets lay hidden within this cursed circus, he was meant to face them.
