My name is Amelia Barnwell. I'm 22 years old. I started writing poetry when I was in 4th grade. One day a teacher that I had grown close to talked to me about expressing myself and gave me a notebook. I began using the book as a journal as well as writing short stories and poetry. I ended up falling in love with poetry & have been writing since. It's helped me through many things & I hope to inspire & encourage others through my poems.
