I've noticed you haven't updated any of your works or begun any new ones, yet still recently active on Wattpad. Are you planning to write any other interesting Power Ranger fanfics? Or did you decide to just stop?
@JNightshade666 Hello there. Yeah, sorry for the inactivity. It's not that I don't want to make more fanfics (I have been planning my next one), I've just been super busy between making videos and art, finishing up a job on a short film, family time, etc. I haven't forgotten what I want to do here; I just haven't had time recently to focus on dropping new stories yet. I do have a short Megaforce fic that I can try to have out by the end of the year if I don't get the bigger story I've been planning out in the summer. Also, I am making some fanart for the 5th anniversary of Zoo-Keepers, so if that's of interest, it'll be on my Deviantart on February 14th.
Hey, any tips for someone writing a Power Rangers adaptation? Turns out it’s a lot harder than I thought it would be.

@01188E Another late reply, sorry. Well, firstly, try to decide what kind of story you want; one close to the Sentai, one more original, or both? Secondly, definitely watch the show in full first if you can as you'll want to plan as much as you can in advance. Episodes hard to adapt will catch you off guard on rewatch.

Well, thankfully, while simple, Zyuohger has easy characterization and quirks to work off of. Yamato's straight man energy, Sela's fighting spirit, Leo's loudness and chivalrous attitude, Tusk's love of reading, Amu's vein aspects (which, in hindsight, I maybe could've adapted better to give Sylvia a character flaw), and Misao's flip flopping confidence.
I saw start with figuring out what kind of core personality traits or jobs or interests etc., that you want each ranger to have. Again, depending on if you want to make a story closer to the Sentai or one with more original footage, you may or may not be limited by how well your writing choices sync up with Zyuohger.
For instance, in Megaforce, Jake goes from being the fun but confident adaptation of Gosei Black, to acting super goofy at times in Super Megaforce because Doc from Gokaiger was just too different in personality. Same with Orion and Gai.
So if you want to avoid mistakes like that, either make the characterization close to parts of the Sentai or just make more original parts of the story for them.
In light of recent news that the highly anticipated Ninja Kids Power Rangers project using suits by artist Tokujay decided to release a trailer with Generative AI in it, I feel I need to remind you all of something.

I do NOT want that plagiarizing, planet polluting garbage in this fandom and have to put up enough with it as is. And I've had at least one bad experience on this site with someone who trying scamming me that was okay with using AI in their story's thumbnail.
So if you ever come to me asking to "read your story or work" (which I am NOT obligated to do as I am not a free fanfic editor/critic for you to submit stuff to) and you use Generative AI, you will be blocked or ignored. I am done putting up with you losers constantly pretending your slop is better than my or others' REAL art.
To all my cool followers who don't like this stuff either, keep doing you.
Anyway, on a cheerier note, I can confirm I know what my next PR fanfic is and, if I can balance working on it with other stuff, I MIGHT release it next summer. I don't want to lock anything in and disappoint anyone, but I promise I want to do more. It's just hard to commit when you have other interests and have to be constantly worried about Sentai episode sites or uploads on YouTube disappearing overnight, like what happened with Tokufun.

A question about Zoo-Keepers: Would Benny pretty much be the series' main character, while his teammates have a similar role?
@Jcninja30 Pretty much, yeah. I kind of wrote the team to adults who are on somewhat equal footing with each other. Where there's not a 100% definitive leader, despite some characters having more experience or speaking up more. But Benny is definitely the core protagonist with the most focus, by way of Zyuohger's focus on Yamato.
I have just learned that Zoo-Keepers has a TV Tropes page; to whoever made it, thank you. Aside from some spelling errors, it's fantastic. I'd love if someone could go in and make character subsections. Still, again, this is AWESOME.
Hello there i just wanted to say I recently finished zookeepers and i enjoyed it it's not perfect but I still think it's than the neo saban series except dino charge and that's coming from someone who grew up with them I especially liked benny I found his arc of finding confidence and overcoming his grief to be compelling and found the rest of the cast while could of have had more focus still good I also liked what you did with the villains and improving on ideas from the sentai especially by tying them to jungle fury basically what im trying to say is when reading this I felt a love for the power rangers series and super sentai when reading this you clearly passion into this story and I can't wait for the next one so thank you.
@EJuniverse Thank you so much! I'm glad you could see my passion in this and that you enjoyed Benny's story. One person said they found him to be the weakest character, but didn't elaborate on why due to...well, it's a long story, so it's nice to hear another more specific opinion on that.
