I wrote Never After in 2022, though my vision for the story outpaced my ability to capture it. The words I sought remained frustratingly out of reach, victims of my inadequate preparation. Sixteen additional chapters await publication, and I must beg your pardon for any flaws within these pages. I never truly envisioned sharing this work with an audience when I first put pen to paper.  These words were meant to remain in my private collection, never to see daylight beyond my desk.
