@Amorista_ I might have a suggestion for the storyline. I saw another writer who had the same issue and they were advised to write down the general plot that you were aiming for in your original plans for the story. Then look at it as if you've never seen it before. Leave it for a couple of days or even weeks. Come back to it and then write out the possibilities of something completely new and different thrown in the middle of the story. Now add something else that could be another idea to work with. Then add in another complication...maybe a new person who adds to the storyline and takes it to a different direction. Finally, add three complications that could be bad, mediocre, good, or absolutely brilliant and there's another dimension/layer to your story. Some authors say they get into the character and try to think what does the character really want when telling their story. Hope this helps
