I'm currently just updating the preference book at the moment as I am off school! All of the content unless stated in the book has been copied and pasted from tumblr! At the bottom of each preference I give full rights to the owner who is also stated unless I don't know who they are. Just thought I would clear that up! Thanks

I just jumped for the first time today.... if you could would you please give me some pointers? I love horses and I really want to jump, but I never have.

@XXSunblayzeXX Yeah sure, when your approaching the jump sit deep in your saddle with your heels down and look straight in front of you, don't look down at the jump as your horse will feel your nerves and either stop or pull out. Don't over jump yourself or your horse, stay at a height your comfortable with then work your way up :) If your horse decides to pull out don't let him/her do it, turn them back towards the jump so they're facing it then turn and try again or they may try to pull out again. When your going over the jump don't lean right over the horses neck or shove your hands up towards the ears, keep your hands soft and place them a bit further up than the withers and lean a bit forward while looking at your next fence, while landing lean a slightly bit back but don't yank the reins keep your hands soft again. Hope that helped :) good luck with your riding and if you want you can check out my riding channel :) you'll see what I mean with positioning in a showjumping course. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIgr5sJu7FZIX8YSBaye3Kw
