I've been writing for as long as I can remember, inspired by a childhood fascination with books. By the time I was fifteen and confronted with school 'careers guidance', I'd decided being a writer was the only profession I could possibly enjoy - which, of course, led to a string of other roles, including Archaeology student, bookseller and library assistant.
After a temporary sojourn in the city, I'm now back in the countryside. These days, I live in rural North Yorkshire with my partner, where we run a bed & breakfast business and smallholding. When I'm not working or writing, I enjoy reading, gaming, photography, and trying to pretend I'm a grown-up.
You can find me online at amysanderson.co.uk, where there are also links to my serial fiction for the Guild Wars 2 site 'Chronicles of Tyria', to my steadily growing number of self-published books and novellas, and to my indie game review blog.
