wanted to start writing the piano music for a song only to remember i don't know how to play piano and i only have lyrics that flow like a poem and not a song and i don't even have notes for those lyrics and idk how to just come up with notes and melodies on the spot so turns out i need to put a bit more work into this

any tips on tricking you brain into actually writing instead of staring at a peice of paper for half an hour planning something a chapter or 2 later?
@AmythistStarr yeah of course! and music definitely helps, I've been listening to the same song for the past hour (which according to my sister is about an architect slowly losing his mind??? idk I just was listening to the beat which worked perfectly with a dance scene)
@AmythistStarr Music. Play music that fits the characters and you might find bits that fit the scene and inspire you
pro tip if you're ever wanting to feel a bit rebellious cause you're mad at people: draw on your arms/legs/anywhere really but best if it can be easily covered if you have to be around people.

@SarosTheSnow-Spoken yeah fair, I did vandalize that one place once with nearly a hundred pride stickers cause I was really mad. I got caught in the end, but i still don't regret it
@AmythistStarr Thanks for the tip. Usualy I resort to vandalism (within reason) ; our school has been failing me and my sib for a while now so I took an unspesified document used for identification in the vague shape of a book, found a lonly page and scribbled "Oh, no, Vandalism !". I mean, sure, I amn't alowed to do that since I signed the docment saying I wouldn't do vandalism on it but the people in charge broke their side of the contract saying that they'd keep us safe from physical and mental harm, so why don't I break mine ?

headcanon time: the fact that watchers were created to look after and protect the other races is pretty ingrained into their culture, and having grown up in that culture, Xisuma really took to that role. He doesn't see himself as a watcher, he never did, but whenever he comes across a runaway or someone in need of a home or community... well, it just seems natural to provide it.
