To anyone who still enjoys reading Doomed and wants an update, please come read this!!! It's to why I haven't been updating!!!
Original, the lack of updates was simply because I was on break for my own mental health. That's on me. The second part is the more crucial part here -- the app I was using to keep all the story details in refused to open, so I had to delete and reinstall. I hoped and prayed it would keep everything... it did not. So I lost all of the story details and future plot to the book, and my dumbass brain could not remember. So here's my solution -- I'm going to take the book down for the moment and rewrite some of it. Some details will be the same, of course, Seraphina isn't going anywhere, but others might change some to do with plot. Also my writing has just gotten better too, thank God! If you are interested in watching the story regrow and flourish into more than it ever got to me, please stick around, and it would be much appreciated if you could interact with this post to show me you are still interested! Unpopular opinion, but Elena isn't a crybaby. Yes, she has her moments where she is annoying, but the last thing she is is a crybaby. She is more so emotional than anything. She lost her whole family and a lot of people she loved.

Yall ever heard of everyone grieving differently? I mean, cmon. Some people cry when they're upset/grieving, some get angry, and others are just... there. Everyone grieves differently. Don't shame someone for how they grieve. Its kinda shitty to do.
