"Sparks and snaps and whips that crack and snatches of poetry plague my mind. Oh, but it's quite the entertaining time."
I write to escape the everyday chaos which has a way of consuming me at times. Poetry is a release because through it I can dissassocoate with my issues and move on from them. I am working on using my gift to glorify my Maker, and hope to one day be a published author that also gives recognition to the Lord.
Despite the dark tapestry of depression or self-hate and self-loathing that my words may weave, don't be persuaded to believe that everyday I hate myself so obscenely. I swear I am more than my words may speak, I love my Lord Jesus, the Savior of all, to Him be all Glory and Honor for ever and ever because He saved me. I just get a little lost in my own head sometimes and then I write to escape and that's what I put on display, but I promise you this day that I'm working on using my gift to glorify His name.
