I don't really know why I'm typing this but I figured I do it.

I've been homeschooled since I was 9 years old. My dad was the only one working and my mom would stay home to help with my work. We ended up moving and my mom wanted me to have some activities so I wasn't at home all the time. So we got into horse riding and now I have a horse from it. (I don't really want to get into it cause this isn't about that) we worked at the barn to pay board but we weren't getting enough money to pay. So my mom started looking for a job. She has a job now and is going to start in 2 weeks. So it would just be me and my grandma (she lives with us) So me and my parents decided that I would go back into school. The thing is though is that I would probably be in a grade lower than I should be in. And I'm very shy and I have slight anxiety.

I don't know what to expect at all and I'm nervous.

Does anyone have any tips they could share?

I don't really know why i put this on here but I really don't know what to do.

I did look up some things but it didnt really help.

Last night I had a lesson on my horse and she started to act up (Think a horse just got to close). Was basically a rocking horse and I fell off. Now I have a concussion and a sprained shoulder! Great. Lol it's funny though cause the barn owner sent us the video from the camera. Me and my mom are laughing at it. My dad isn't though...

Funny part is that I looked like a arabatic In the air. Did a full on flip off the horse. Atleast my first fall was in my own horse.

About 2 months ago me and my parents got a horse. He was a six-year-old Bay horse. He was a little spooky in a little green over jumps. He did just get there so we figured he just needed time to get used to the place. We soon found out that he wasn't what we thought he was. He would freak out at the littlest things, if we sneezed he would flip out. He would back up on me and rear. All the trainers I would say that he just needed to be lunged and worked everyday, so that's what we did but nothing changed. To be honest he seemed to get worse. Soon enough the trainers even thought it's not normal. We later found out that he had to be drugged when we went to see him one night, he was just too mellow that night to be that way. We didn't want to but we decided to trade him with another horse ibut it had to be done we brought him to another barn for him to stay out for them to try him, an at that Barn there was a horse that we were going to try we ended up bringing her to our barn for a trial week, she was a 16 year old Chestnut mare. We fell in love with her instantly. Everyone at the barn thought she was the sweetest thing. I knew the second day she was there that we wanted her. The other Barn said that are horse wasn't the best, obviously. They said that he was a lot greener then they thought he was. As the days went by we were crazy we didn't know if you're going to be able to keep her. The owner of the barn was the one that was telling us what they were texting her. One night at like around 10 p.m. she texted us she said we were officially a part of the chestnut mare Club we were just so happy. She said it took a little bit of convincing but the other owner decided to agree. So now we have a horse that isn't crazy and we can ride. My dad has you start to do lessons on her. She has suddenly gotten abscess so she has been on stall rest but that's fine. She is also a little bit skinny so we have been working on getting her fat but overall I'm just happy to have her.
