As Hatchling, I never expected my life to be easy. I just expected it to be simpler.
          
          For months I hid in the town dump, hiding from The Primal Fire and looking for any abandoned cell phones. My own sat powerless in my pocket, waiting for a charger. Then I met Dragon. He was scavenging for electronics like I was, but he had a group of followers. When he invited me to his camp, I went immediately. They gave me special gear, and Dragon gave me special attention. He taught me how to hack into tablets and phones, how to create solar chargers, and how to lead. 
          
          Months later, I was a new person. I had become a leader and a role model, but I had also become a thief and a wanted. My name became infamous; I am the Hatchling, and I am unstoppable.
          
          The description and a short excerpt from The Programmers, which should have a few chapters up by the end of June. This story has been bouncing around in my head since May, and I can't wait to share it with you. See you soon!
