Or I should say more specifically, *who* is reading my books. Because I know my friends are reading my fics, but where are the other views coming from-

@AnaGumdrop It's literally a love letter to astronomy and solar eclipses...and I love it for that! Yeah...if you like astronomy and STEM stuff, you might like it. The setting, plot and characters are extremely influenced by it.

@AnaGumdrop Every Soul A Star. (I don't read stories from the author, but I love this story on a personal level, objective level, subjective level...) It's a coming-of-age realistic scifi YA book (with barely any romance, thank God since that's not the priority) with three different protagonists who all meet each other at the same place. I've read it multiple times. It's also super rich with references to astronomy so yeah. (The quote is a paraphrasing of the last line of the book.)

@AnaGumdrop In order to beat the cliches, perhaps you could make it a satire of all the ya romance cliched stuff? And subvert expectations by having her use those cliches in her favor only for them to fail each them. Only when she's original does she catch the eye of the leads.
