"Built to Last" reminds me of just how much I love Philadelphia. I live in the American southwest now and that's where I place a lot of my AU fics, but Philly will always have my heart. 
          
          I should be finishing "Soft Spot" this week, and then I think I'm going to take a break and go back and do some revisions on a few of my older stories. Namely: "Anywhere With You," "Breakpoint," and "Buried Sparks " Those were some of the earliest stories I wrote and I felt like my writing has improved so much since then. 

I settled on "Built To Last" as my next Bakugo fic, and it was primarily for one reason: it's already completed. The only significant change I have to make is that I originally wrote it with only Eijiro and Katsuki as characters representative of the canon MHA cast. Everyone else was an OC. So all I have to do in the editing process (besides editing for mechanics) is to change all the original characters into MHA characters. 
          
          I am NOT done with "Soft Spot" so I am still actively writing and editing that, but I've nailed down a new update schedule: "Soft Spot" will be updated every Monday, and "Built To Last" will be updated every Thursday. They will be multi-chapter updates, which I prefer over the one-chapter-every-weekday schedule I did with my last two books. 
          
          I've been struggling to move on from "For Me, It's You," as that was a storyline that hit me pretty hard, so I'm kind of in a funk right now. I've just been listening to "Maybe Tomorrow" on repeat for what seems like forever now. Not sure I'll go back to a grief fic any time soon. Apparently I'm not mature enough to keep my writing separate from my emotions. Ha. 
          
          I really hope everyone is enjoying "Built To Last" and "Soft Spot." <3

"For Me, It's You" is officially done, and now the only WIP I have is "Soft Spot," my Kirishima situationship romantic comedy. I cannot go long without writing a Bakugo story, so I have to go through my catalog and figure out what we're posting next. I have a Bakugo x Yui Kodai horror-dark romance called "Curse" that I would love to sink my teeth into, but I'm also leaning towards "Silent Skies," a Bakugo romance/book 2 in the "When Heroes Break" trilogy. Book 1, "Last Breath," was one of the first stories I posted here, even though my lone Aizawa romance doesn't get nearly as much attention as all my Bakugo stuff, and I feel a little obligated to move the story forward a bit after all this time. I'm gonna think about it for the next few days and figure out what direction I want to move in.

I was going to have the last few chapters in "Bad Idea, Baby" publish over the next three days, but then I couldn't figure out if I could mark the story complete now or if I'd have to do it on Friday after the last chapters published, and  I thought, "Why am I even debating over this? I should just publish everything now and mark it complete," SO I DID. "Bad Idea, Baby" IS OFFICIALLY DONE and I am SO FREAKING PROUD! WOOHOO!

Thank you so much for Soft Spot already hooked. Love Kirishima but can't find any decent/well written stories at all so really looking forward to this one especially as other Kirishima leaves me an emotional mess. Also Happy Birthday saw your cake on tiktok it looked amazing x

I'm proud to announce that I just completed a MASSIVE rewrite of one of my older fan fictions, "Center Stage." I have always loved that story, but it's one that I wrote early on and it was overly bloated with a meandering plot. I have changed the love story from slow burn to angst/yearning, chopped it from 101 chapters to 71, and revised it to the point where the writing isn't something I'm ashamed to own up to. If you haven't read "Center Stage," now is the time because this is the best it's ever been. Happy reading!

I am switching my update days and I figured I'd let everyone know. For the two stories I have going right now ("Bad Idea, Baby" and "For Me, It's You") I am far enough ahead in the writing process that I feel confident committing to 5x weekly updates for both, Monday through Friday. "Bad Idea, Baby" is finished except for the new relationship dynamic I stupidly decided to add a few weeks ago, and "For Me, It's You" is much easier to write than I anticipated. (Maybe I won't be so bad at writing Kirishima after all. I was a little intimidated after spending such a long time focusing only on Bakugo.) Anyway, the amount of people reading my stuff is mind-boggling to me right now, so all I can say is thank you- thank you for every vote, comment, and addition to a reading list. I'm so incredibly grateful.

I'm using this conversation board like a blog and I'm not mad about it! So this is my publishing schedule: 1 chapter per day Monday through Friday for "Bad Idea, Baby," and 3 chapters every Monday on "For Me, It's You." That'll change once "Bad Idea, Baby" finishes, but I'm not sure which story I would like to post next. I have been dying to post "Curse," another horror/dark romance like "Blood and Glass," but hardly anybody ever reads "Blood and Glass" so I'm unsure if I should post another horror novel. Either way, right now I'm up to my neck in road trips and legal drama, so I guess I'd better focus on my WIPs...

Fun fact: my female main characters' names always start with A or K. I started off thinking I'd name them names that start with K, then A, then T, then S, then U, until eventually I had K-A-T-S-U-K-I spelled out (I did it with Breakpoint- Kai- and Buried Sparks- Aoi), but then I decided to publish Anywhere With You, which is second person pov, and abandoned the idea completely. Now I just name all my OCs an A or K name instead.
