Hello all!

I am a college student in my early 20's from a small island. I used to write a fair amount when I was younger, but discouraged by the poor quality that was evident to me even then, my efforts petered out over time. I've read a few things on here and seeing them as well as reading other things (because I'm quite the voracious reader) has inspired me to write again. Now that I'm a bit older, and more educated, I'm in a place where I can relax and write because it makes me happy. And I'll post on here in the hopes that I can share that happiness with other people. That said, I'm more of a recreational writer as I don't really have the luxury of taking it on full time just now. 

I'm not on this to get famous or anything nearly so fancy; more than anything I really just want feedback for my work so I can know if I succeeded in making someone happy, or how I can go about achieving that.
