27 years old and ready to complete the life long dream of being an author. Fantasy is the name of the game and I've been playing since I was a kid. 

I had the idea of 'The Legend of the Wildfires' since I was a teenager but never really fleshed it out. After wasting several years of my life on things not worth mentioning, I finally picked up a pen and started to write. 

Video games of the same genre and books by Michelle Paver, Tolkien, George Martin and Victoria Aveyard all had a profound impact on my style and thinking process. It all started with a name. My protagonist. And then a second name. My antagonist. For months I had these two names written in bold on a piece of paper until I began adding themes and ideas and other characters. 

Fast forward several years and I have created a vast and vibrant world with an even more vibrant history. Religion, culture, factions, government, and the ancient and recent histories of each piece connect in one enormous story that is my life's work. 

This is still a work in progress however and I am attempting to build a world map via inkarnate.com. A definite recommendation.

When I'm not reading or writing, I enjoy binge watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Archer on Netflix. I'm also a massive Star Trek and Star Wars fan.
