My interest in reading and writing started in high school when I was first exposed to English and Norwegian literature. Before that I had written a lot of lovestruck poems, not quite knowing where they came from. In university I met someone who introduced me to modern classics and helped me get more serious about reading. Through reading, I learned to write. I have nothing else I am more passionate about, but still I have not dared to follow my dream. Main influences include (in no particular order): simple beauty, everyday complexity, and Bruno Schulz.
