Do you remember the Charlie Brown cartoon, where every time the teachers spoke all you heard was 'mwah, mwah, mwah'? That's what I hear when politicians talk, or anybody that appears to me to be self-serving, bluffing, or trying to hide their faults.
I have become a writer and have published my first book, Theo Mallier: Growing Pains, about a man from a council estate who runs for prime minister. My writing has been described in a positive way by all that have read it (so far), though has also been described as 'light and dark', a kind of dark humour, if you will.
I always try to see the positives in any situation and usually do, though I can see the negatives as well. I love writing and it is my favourite activity, one of those things I like so much I would probably do it for nothing anyway.
For me, there's nothing like 'being in the zone' when writing, and I think if you don't enjoy the book you're writing yourself, then nobody else is going to enjoy it either. Enthusiasm for words really shows in the books I enjoy reading, and I have the same enthusiasm when I'm putting a book together as well.
